About me

That photo on the right is me. It was taken a few years ago when I was living in Bath and had just started this blog. Since then I finished the PhD I was studying for in Bath and moved to London.

I now work as a clinical engineer for at a hospital here. I think my job is really interesting as I get the chance to work in different areas of the hospital as well be involved in design projects.

When I am not working, I like to explore the amazing city of London. There is so much of pretty much everything to do here. Just by absent mindedly walking around, you will see a wealth of history, culture and oddities. If you have any sugegestions of places I can visit (and write about here), let me know. I also enjoy gardening (on the small balcony in my flat), cooking (especially baking  cakes) and painting.

I saw your comment on The Chronicles of a Rocket Surgeon, about the whole blog buddy thing. I think what you said about having a blog buddy be someone different is spot on. I think you’re doing great things on your blog. I enjoyed browsing through it :)

I’d just like to point out a subtle spelling error on your CV. Under your References section, available is spelled as availible. Not to be a nuisance, but some employers can be very picky about minute, almost-negligible things like that.

Thanks so much for letting me know about that. I have now updated it.

Good luck Michael – nothing wrong in having ambition in life, and you certainly show you have goals you are living up to.

    Best Wishes

Michael – what happened to your blog? I hit the link on the email I received to make a comment, and got a message saying there was nothing there and that area could not be found??? It had your heading and the blog pages, but no home page.

That sounds weird. I have no idea what the problem could have been. Is it better now?

Yeah, it’s better now. Must have been an internet belch of some kind :P
