About me

That photo on the right is me. It was taken many years ago when I was living in Bath and had just started this blog. Since then I finished the PhD I was studying for and moved to London.

I now work as a Clinical Scientist at King’s College Hospital in London. I find my job very rewarding as I get to apply my engineering experience to the management of medical devices.

When I am not working, I like to explore the amazing city of London. There is so much of pretty much everything to do here. Just by absent mindedly walking around, you will see a wealth of history, culture and oddities. If you have any sugegestions of places I can visit (and write about here), let me know.

  2. I saw your comment on The Chronicles of a Rocket Surgeon, about the whole blog buddy thing. I think what you said about having a blog buddy be someone different is spot on. I think you’re doing great things on your blog. I enjoyed browsing through it ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I’d just like to point out a subtle spelling error on your CV. Under your References section, available is spelled as availible. Not to be a nuisance, but some employers can be very picky about minute, almost-negligible things like that.

  4. wonderful field you’re studying. no doubt you will be in great demand. have you thought about becoming a physician? also, you’re certainly youthful for a 4th year phd candidate. best of luck to you.

  5. Michael – what happened to your blog? I hit the link on the email I received to make a comment, and got a message saying there was nothing there and that area could not be found??? It had your heading and the blog pages, but no home page.
